My name is Scott McIntosh and I am overjoyed to be joining the wonderful community at Trinity in a more permanent way. I have had the privilege of substitute teaching at Trinity a number of times and immediately was impacted by the joy filled, thoughtful and Christ centered community that surrounds this great school. My wife and I currently live downtown in Hamilton, though are both from small towns north of here, which is probably why I so appreciate the tight knit family feel that exists at Trinity.
I currently have been substitute teaching at a number of OAC Schools and thoroughly enjoying the experiences each new classroom brings. I have worked with children and youth in a number of capacities over the years, including working as a Youth Pastor as well as a Summer Camp Director.
My passion has always been working with children, and teaching in a classroom is where I belong. I will strive to be an intentional, creative and compassionate teacher, assisting students to realize and use their God-given talents and abilities. I believe in strong communities and will create a welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable and confident so as to take new risks in their learning and grow ever more closely to our heavenly Father. I am grateful for this opportunity to educate young learners about Christ’s infinite love.
